This sterling silver St. Kateri pendant is 3/4" X 5/8", has a Rhodium, lite curb chain and is enclosed in an appealing box. The St. Kateri medallion shows her praying before a crucifix, and standing in a mountain scene. St. Kateri was a Mohawk girl. Her parents died when she was young and she was raised by her aunt and uncle. They tried to marry her off, but she refused, and eventually she converted to Christianity. She left them to live with other Native American Catholics. She is the patron saint of the environment. This St. Kateri medal would be a great gift for someone with a devotion to her.
