This sterling silver St. George medallion is 3/4" X 1/2" and is encased in a beautiful box. It comes with a Rhodium, lite curb chain. The St. George medal shows the saint on a horse. St. George was a commander in the Roman army. When the emperor told him to seek out Christians in the army and kill them, George refused, saying that he himself was a Christian. The emperor had him tortured and martyred. St. George is the patron saint of boy scouts and soldiers.
