This is a wonderful history of not only the organ, but the Crystal Cathedral and it's founders. It is so fascinating and I hope to hear it in person some day and I pray that the Catholic's will treat it well and maintain it. It is a treasure in the pipe organ world of music. Bravo!!!

Book only documents 16000 pipes since restoration,. This figure is over 1000 short of what the other literature claims. Suggest next edit will fix the pipe count to over 17000.. Otherwise a great book overall.

Once the book arrived and I started reading it - I could not put it down. Meticulously researched and written - the book gives a all the details of how Hazel - as she is known - came to be - flourished - declined - and was resurrected with a $3MM renovation. Lots of great photos also included in the book. A MUST HAVE for any "Hazel Fan".
