The Twelve Year Prayers of Saint Bridget on the Passion of Jesus are a set of meditations on the seven times that Christ shed His Precious Blood on our account. The meditations are to be prayed daily for twelve years. Revealed to St. Bridget by Jesus Himself, five graces are promised to those who faithfully pray this devotion: the soul who prays them suffers no purgatory, the soul who prays them will be accepted among the Martyrs as though he had spilled his blood for his faith, the soul who prays them can choose three others whom Jesus will keep in a state of grace sufficient to become holy, no one in the four successive generations of the soul who prays them will be lost, and the soul who prays them will be made conscious of his death one month in advance. This devotion was recommended by both Pope Clement XII and the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith. Pope Innocent X declared that it was from God. This pamphlet is printed on sturdy plastic, and contains all the prayers and promises given to St. Bridget. Folds to 4.5" by 8.5", and opens to 8.5" x 18".
