This sterling silver St. Columbanus pendant is encased in a charming box, comes with a rhodium, lite curb chain and is 3/4" X 1/2". The St. Columbanus medal shows him with a bear. St. Columbanus is credited with writing the Irish rule for monks. He emphasized obedience above all things. It is a much shorter and simpler rule than the rule of St. Benedict, but it is very similar except that he advocates corporal punishment for disobedience. Columbanus is the patron saint of motorcyclists.
