This gold-filled St. Kateri pendant is 1 1/4" X 1 1/8", has a stainless gold, heavy curb chain and is enclosed in an appealing box. The St. Kateri medallion shows her praying before a crucifix, and standing in a mountain scene. St. Kateri was a Mohawk girl. When she was young her parents died and she was raised by her aunt and uncle, who were anti-Catholic. She converted to Catholicism anyway, but was forced to leave them and went to live with other Native American Catholics. She is the patron saint of the environment. This St. Kateri medal would be a great gift for someone with a devotion to her.
