A seven decade Franciscan Crown rosary, traditionally prayed in honor of the Seven Joys of Our Lady, made of smooth jujube wood beads with a jujube wood cross bearing a metal San Damiano Crucifix. In Christian tradition, the jujube tree is identified as the thorn bush used to weave Christ's Crown of Thorns, and pilgrims to the Holy Land brought its branches home as reminders of His sacrifice. The wood is heavy and durable.
