This tiny sterling silver St. Cecilia pendant has the dimensions of 1/2" X 1/4", comes with a sterling silver, lite curb chain and is enclosed in a charming box. The St. Cecilia medallion shows her with a harp, playing for the angels. This small St. Cecilia medal can be worn around the neck.
St. Cecilia lived in the 3rd century. When she was arrested, she was condemned to be beheaded. The executioner struck her neck three times, but could not sever her head from her body. She lived for three days after the execution, praying and teaching. She is the patron saint of musicians.
